EXPERIENCE & RESPONSIBILITIES

Conduct topographic surveys in underground and surface areas of the mine according to operational needs

Place survey markers in the mine, including headings and floor levels

Perform drill line markings
-
Survey surface stockpiles
-
Estimate bi-weekly progress for contractor payments
-
Drawing and map creation skills
-
Control of construction works such as tailings dam projects, estimation preparation, volume calculations (cut and fill), and diversion canal construction
-
Establish work procedures for underground surveys considering the mining methods used at the site
-
Establish work procedures for surface surveys
-
Surveying for control of development and production works
-
Preparation of plans, estimation reviews, and report generation
